William R. Ellis, Au.D, CCC-A
William Ellis, Au.D., CCC-A graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hearing and Speech. This was followed by a Masters degree in Audiology from Hofstra University. He subsequently completed the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. He holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Ellis has been with our practice since 1987, where he evaluates patients presenting with hearing and balance disorders. He is proficient in the following audiologic and vestibular evaluations:
- Comprehensive Audiometry and Tympanometry
- Otoacoustic emissions
- Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) / Brainstem Evoked Response (BSER)
- Electronystagmography (ENG)
- Electrocochleography (ECOG)
Dr. Ellis is a Clinical Audiologist in the Section of Audiology, Department of Otolaryngology, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore-LIJ Health System.
He is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
